• Spending time on secondment in the restructuring team of a global bank, gaining insight into the behaviour of lenders and the art of the possible in a financially challenged situation;

• Negotiating with trade unions to obtain their support in restructurings;

• Obtaining the support of customers and suppliers to ensure the continuity of businesses; and

• Working with investors in leading on fundraising processes.
